America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer winner Drew Lynch, known for his wit and openness about his stutter, approached us to reimagine his website with a fresh, sophisticated look that would resonate with fans and amplify the excitement of his “Short King” tour. Drew felt that his existing site missed the mark, presenting an outdated and somewhat juvenile style that didn’t align with the more polished image he envisioned as he evolved as a comedian. He wanted a refined yet playful digital space that could balance his unique humor with a professional edge, creating a space where fans could experience his growth and passion firsthand.
Adding to the challenge was the need to integrate an extensive library of new content and tour material in a way that felt natural, fluid, and engaging. We needed to craft an online presence that would celebrate Drew’s comedic voice while drawing visitors into an immersive brand experience, making the website a true extension of his stage presence—authentic, bold, and unmistakably Drew.
Our approach centered on a comprehensive refresh of the website’s visual and functional elements to create an engaging and polished experience. We developed a vibrant color palette anchored by banana yellow, a nod to Drew’s iconic comedic bit involving his speech impediment and the word “banana.” This distinctive touch was woven into a redesigned logo and cohesive brand elements, ensuring that Drew’s personality remained at the heart of the site.
To elevate the visitor experience, we curated sections that seamlessly integrated new tour photography and strategically placed calls-to-action that highlighted his comedic talent and tour updates. The site was designed with an intuitive, modern layout that balanced playful elements with the sophistication Drew’s brand now represents. Implementing a dark mode option further added a sleek, mature touch to the design. Additionally, we prioritized functionality by incorporating a streamlined ticket-purchasing system for fans and an efficient booking inquiry feature for venues, ensuring that the platform supported both user engagement and Drew’s operational needs.
